Beauty Review: LA Girl Pro HD Concealer | Beauty

The bags under my eyes are most definitely Chanel- nothing else could be that noticeable.

For years, I struggled to find the right concealer for me. Some were too thick, others too dehydrating, some creased pretty easily and others were just way to expensive. Until I tried the LA Girl Pro HD Concealer- LIFE CHANGING!

The product:

LA Girl Pro Concealers are created in the USA. It’s function is to erase dark circles, even skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

The LA Girl concealers can be purchased from Dischem stores around the South Africa. Alternatively, you can purchase them online. The best part? They retail for under R50.

Colour Selection:

With an incredible 28 shades to choose from, LA Girl makes sure everyone is covered. The colour selection includes a variety of colour correcting shades as well as concealing shades for multiple skin tones.

My thoughts:

I’d pretty much given up on all concealers- until I tried this one. It has a smooth, creamy texture that isn’t drying at all. It doesn’t crease or settle into any fine lines. It’s easy to blend out- a few pats with my beauty blender and it looks seamless. The colour selection is pretty amazing- there’s a shade for every skin tone. The addition of colour correcting shades makes it even better. Because this concealer is full coverage, I can depend on it to fully cover my horrendous under-eye bags. Because of its built-in applicator, application is a breeze! I’m in love!

How to use the product:

I apply the concealer directly from the tube since it does come with a super handy applicator. If you’d like, you can apply the product with a concealer brush. The product is extremely easy to blend- whether you’re using your finger, a brush or a beauty blender. My choice is always the beauty blender. Once the product is fully blended, set it with some translucent powder. This will help brighten up the area as well as help the product last for longer without creasing.

On days I feel like my under eyes really need extra help, I’ll apply an orange/coral toned colour corrector before applying my concealer. This helps with some of the discoloration in the area.

You NEED this product in your life. Whether you’re a makeup artist, a makeup lover or even a beginner, it’s an amazing addition to the kit. I highly recommend this concealer.
